I’ll have a new skin up here soon, probably within a week.  The design is just about done, I just need to finish getting the comments window designed and then break everything down for the PHP and EE templates. Whee!

So this past Sunday, J hurt his foot when he did a canonball into his brother’s pool and went straight to the bottom (it is a fairly deep pool, too).  Actually he scraped up both of his feet, and bruised one of them so he’s been limping this past week.

What is it with my crew and hurting their feet??

I just can’t get into work today.  I’m AT work, but my mind isn’t *IN* it.  I’ve been working 5 days a week for well over a year and I still haven’t gotten used to a two-day weekend.  I was definitely spoiled with the three day weekends I had at my previous job.

Oh well.  Only 6.5 hrs left of my day.   

She’s better now.  She stopped limping sometime late Saturday.

Our best guess is that she had a minor sprain from falling out of bed last Tuesday night.  By Friday she was to the point where she wouldn’t even stand up, although I don’t know if it was because she was just expecting it to hurt, or if every little move she made actually did hurt.  But after her nap on Friday I kind of forced her to walk across her room if she wanted me to carry her around.  She was able to do it with a slight limp, and probably hurt her less than she expected, as she was hobbling around more by bedtime as opposed to be carried or pushed around in her umbrella stroller.

But she’s all better now, no signs of it anymore.

They must’ve fixed the air conditioning at work or something.  The last two days it’s been freeeezing in here.  I’m talking, cold enough that my fingers were getting too stiff to type and my fingernails had a tinge of blue in them.  Cold enough that going outside at lunch to sit on a bench in 100 degree weather actually felt good.

I think tomorrow I’m bringing a blanket or a sweater or something.  I wore a 3/4 sleeve shirt today but it still wasn’t enough to keep me warm.

Brrr!

I guess not a whole lot has changed, really.  Still married, living at the same house, working at the same company although I’m in a different department.  Kiddo is growing up a bit too fast, but well, that’s what they do.

Oh, well, gas prices damn near doubled since I may have last complained about it.  I think yesterday we saw $4.03.   

Bleh.  Well, time to go get dressed and take the kiddo to the doctor.  Seems she may have twisted her foot or ankle, so need to go get that checked out.   

Yeah, I hadn’t tested those out yet.  They are broken, more digging around in my directories cleaning up links.  *sigh*

Well it’s taken me less time to piece this place back together than I thought it would.  Although if I move directories now, I’ll have to do a whole lot more correcting in the templates and in the skin files, so… Yeah, I think I’ll stay here for now.  The hacker attacked the place in a different directory anyway, and as I said then, I wiped everything out and started on a clean slate.  And got rid of the old MT install since I figured that is probably how it got in.

Next on my plate is to save up enough $ to pay for the commercial license so I can hype stuff I want to sell at my other sites without guilt.

Uploading the images back into the gallery.  I had to remove the hacker’s files first, thankfully since the gallery directory should ONLY have images in it, the bad files were easy to spot.

Not that there is anything new in there right now, but at least it’s back and operational.

Neither of us are feeling too well today.  Our lower intestines are, um, not happy, so powder room visits are looking to be a frequent thing today.  We opted to stay home from work.
